OpenFashion: Co-Creating a Sustainable Future through Open Design
OpenFashion is a three-year Erasmus+ Capacity Building in VET project that aims to strengthen innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation in the fashion and textile sector through open design, digital fabrication, and green skills development.
Fashion and design are increasingly called to address critical contemporary challenges such as sustainability, digital transformation, and social inclusion. Although the sector demonstrates growing awareness of these issues, responding to them effectively remains complex due to established and often unsustainable practices, particularly within the fast fashion supply chain.
OpenFashion seeks to support the modernization of Vocational Education and Training (VET) and Continuing Vocational Education and Training (C-VET) by promoting innovative educational approaches, collaborative practices, open-source methodologies, and digital tools aligned with labour market needs and the twin transition toward sustainability and digital innovation.
