Today’s hybrid workplace must be implemented strategically, using modern HR technologies and approaches that foster connection, collaboration, and employee engagement.
🎯 About the Project
STAY CONNECTED aims to assist managers, team leaders, and HR professionals in gaining the skills and knowledge needed to integrate and support hybrid work models.
The goal is to ensure the inclusion of all employees — both digitally and socially — while also maintaining and enhancing team motivation.
✅ Objectives of STAY CONNECTED
- Empower staff to be active participants whether onsite or teleworking in a hybrid work context
- Establish workplace norms for hybrid work, ensuring everyone is informed and trained to follow them
- Develop innovative, high-quality learning resources for managers and HR professionals
- Build capacity of managers and HR practitioners to promote digital and social inclusion for all staff

🧰 1. Toolkit on Hybrid Work
STAY CONNECTED Toolkit for HR Professionals and Managers
Main objectives of the Toolkit:
- Raise awareness of the benefits and importance of hybrid work environments
- Increase understanding of proximity bias and how to avoid it
- Provide useful information on hybrid work best practices while considering digital wellbeing and social inclusion
💻 2. E-learning Platform & Open Education Resources (OERs)
A one-stop platform providing instant access to:
- Gamified learning tools
- Digital resources and OERs
- Research, articles, and practical tools
Main objectives:
- Build competencies of HR professionals and managers to create inclusive hybrid workspaces, with a focus on digital wellbeing
- Provide a curated collection of digital resources focusing on digital inclusion, social inclusion, and employee wellbeing practices adaptable to everyday hybrid work settings
🎓 3. Training Programme for HR Professionals and Managers
Promoting digital wellbeing, connection, and social inclusion in hybrid work environments.
Main objectives of the programme:
- Raise awareness of the significance of hybrid approaches in today’s labour market
- Equip HR professionals and managers with the skills and knowledge to implement successful, inclusive hybrid work arrangements
- Prepare leaders to adopt and adapt project resources to their own work environments
- Help teams design physical workspaces supportive of digital inclusion
- Support teams in meeting employee wellbeing needs within hybrid environments
📊 Research Results
The resources developed will be suitable for those working in any type of company and across all business sectors.
- One of the first actions of the STAY CONNECTED project was to identify the training and support needs of HR professionals and managers working in hybrid environments.
→ Through surveys and focus group sessions, we identified the benefits and challenges of hybrid work models across partner countries and uncovered training needs for inclusive hybrid arrangements. - Business leaders must intentionally create collaboration opportunities for hybrid and remote workers to sustain employee engagement.
