Workshop Description:
How can an idea or initiative gain clear structure and content, while also taking into account its broader impact? In this workshop, we will become familiar with two tools that support the design or improvement of an initiative. The Business Model Canvas acts as a map: it allows us to clearly see the core components of a business model and how they connect to one another. The Social Value tool helps us understand how the social dimension of a project is not something separate, but an integral part of its design. The Canvas invites us to reflect: What impact does our work have? What is its footprint, and how is that expressed on an economic, social, and environmental level?
