Dr. Leonidas Maroudas was born in Athens, Greece. He is Professor in International Management and Labour Relations at the Department of Business Administration, University of Patras. He was the Director of the M.B.A. Program at the University of the Aegean University (2003 - 2010). Since 2001, he has been cooperating with Hellenic Open University where he acted as the scientific coordinator of the “Management of Tourism Enterprises” course. He holds a four year BSc degree from the Athens University of Economics and Business. Moreover, he holds a Diplôme d’ Etudes Approfondies – DEA from the Université de Paris VIII and a Doctorat de 3éme Cycle again from the Université de Paris VIII. His research interests include International Management, Foreign Direct Investment in Eastern Europe, Human Resource Management, Labour Relations and Workers’ Participation in Management. His scientific research has been published in refereed journals and conference proceedings. Leonidas Maroudas is currently the Associate Editor of the international journal East – West Journal of Economics and Business.
